As well as selling sawn timber, we have the capabilities to manufacture a variety of products from our stock. We have the tools and skills available to produce anything from rustic garden furniture, sheds and pergolas, to our more refined serving platters, chopping boards and spoons.

This is a selection of our pebble boards and pizza boards illustrating the unique and beautiful grain of each board.

With every board we make it's the grain of the wood that dictates the shape of the board. Often it's the knots, splits and holes that make the most interesting pieces, and where possible, we like to embrace this.

So called as they are based on the pebbles my daughters and I love to pick up on the beach. Available in three sizes 30cm, 40cm and 50cm. Smooth and rounded enough for a good skimmer!

Solid ash board

Double handled serving board available in two sizes, 35cm and 45cm (not including handles).

My clever Dad hand carves these small and perfectly formed utensils from our smaller pieces of wood that would otherwise have no use.

I imagine these boards placed in the centre of a table piled high with delicious food, and when they're not in use, hung on the wall of a kitchen, a piece of art in it's own right. Available in differing lengths, the grain dictates what that will be.

These compact and bijou boot jacks are made from solid oak. A gentle rock on the back provides enough lift to slide your boot into the gap.

A simple, classic design using cast iron hooks, and an oak backing board. Can be made to any length.

Made from ash and oak, these beautiful little slices of tree are perfect to rest your morning cuppa on.

Simon Pirrie had designed some beautiful curved benches and needed the timber cut appropriately. After some thought Will designed a jig to cut the flowing curve that was required using his chainsaw.

The customer wanted a decent sized book shelf in an aeroplane design, so we made it to specification.

These benches were made for Sherborne School. The tree was felled in the garden of one of the houses and was of special importance to the school, so they wanted something made from the timber. Now the boy's have somewhere to sit when in the garden.

The customer came to us wanting a very specific design which we were happy to fulfil.

A garden shed project built from scratch and clad with a waney edge board in cedar.
We are continually experimenting with different designs and techniques to produce simple quality pieces.
Our homewares range is constantly evolving, but we are also open to larger projects from book shelves to benches. We welcome the challenge of new projects and are very open to commissions.

Each piece in our homewares range is finished to a high degree making them extremely smooth and tactile. As we are lucky enough to have the pick of the wood from our sawmill, we choose each piece of locally grown timber based on it's uniquely beautiful grain. Chopping boards, serving platters, coat racks, shelves, and more. You can keep up to date with what we’re up to on our Instagram page and our
